Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for Torvald AI subscriptions. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Free Trial

New accounts include a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. You can explore the Service during the trial and decide whether to subscribe. If you don't upgrade, paid features simply become unavailable when the trial ends — you are never charged automatically for a trial.

2. Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through our third-party payment processor. Each renewal charges your payment method for the upcoming month until you cancel.

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, including for partial billing periods or unused time. Because you can cancel at any time to prevent future charges, we do not provide prorated refunds for the current period.

We may, at our discretion, issue a refund in cases such as a clear billing error, a duplicate charge, or where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days of the charge and we'll review it.

5. Failed Payments

If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend or downgrade your access until the balance is resolved. Your data is retained during this period in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Price Changes

We may change plan prices. Any change to your recurring price will be communicated in advance and will take effect on a future billing cycle. Continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
